With over 30 years of experience in wine selection, Kathy will help you select the perfect wine for your meal or mood. She offers superior knowledge to assist in selecting gourmet delicacies for your lifestyles and palette.

Jeff Verner

Co-Owner

With over 30 years of experience as a butcher, Jeff takes pride in hand selecting only the finest cuts of meat available sure to make every meal memorable. He has won numerous competition cooking awards including 1st place in Fish, Game and Fowl at the annual Alabama Wildlife Cook-Off. He is involved with local charities and enjoys serving his community.

Rod Rudolph

General Manager

Rod joined Pepper Tree Steak N Wine in 2014 and is responsible for overseeing all store operations. He loves to help our customers expand their palette for wine by hosting wine tasting events held most Thursdays. Rod's main goal is for everyone who visits Pepper Tree to feel welcome and have an exceptional shopping experience. His Motto is “It’s never too early for a glass of wine!"

Chef Drew Bass

Executive Chef

With an award-winning culinary background, and over 20 years of experience at Pepper Tree, Drew is a professionally trained chef with an  ever-expanding portfolio of new and exciting dishes. He would love to bring his culinary expertise as an Executive Chef to your home or next special event, making you the "talk of the town."

Kim Westfall

Catering Manager

Our newest addition to the team, Kim brings with her 20+ years of experience in the event and hospitality industry. Kim oversees all catering and special events and approaches each with the utmost care. From wedding receptions, gala’s, banquets, or a dinner for two, her knowledge and expertise shine through. With consideration to dietary restrictions, client preferences, seasonality, and venue logistics, Kim takes the time to make every event memorable. Her attention to detail ensures that she exceeds the expectations of every customer's request.

Yvette Sankey

Kitchen Manager

Yvette is a valued asset to Pepper Tree. She is dedicated to sourcing fresh & seasonal ingredients from local vendors that inspire Pepper Tree’s ever-changing menu from dips to entrees. She takes pride in the food that she and her staff prepare and treat every meal as if it were for her own family. Her attention to detail ensures that every customer's request is executed perfectly!

Allison Norton

General Manager

As an Auburn Alumna, Allison is thrilled to be back on "The Plains." Her years of experience in retail, and love for food and wine, make her ideal when helping you select the perfect steak and wine pairing or that "just right" gift for someone special at our Auburn Location. She takes pride in "follow - up and follow - through," which is essential for an exceptional Pepper Tree shopping experience.

Queeniesha "Queenie" Oden

Kitchen Manager

"Queenie" joined us over 10 years ago and customers know when asking for her, their request becomes a reality in record time. From biscuits to buffets her culinary skills take Southern cuisine to new heights. Her smile and bubbly personality are sure to make your visit to Pepper Tree the best part of your day!
